Graduate Studies

Kinesiology is the study of all of the body’s organ systems in response to movement, muscle contraction or exercise, and exercise training. Using both human and animal models and reflecting research ranging from basic to applied, it draws from an interdisciplinary body of knowledge grounded in the biological, psychological, physical and social sciences.
 

Kinesiology is NOT a discipline emphasizing personal training, fitness instruction, strength and conditioning coaching, health promotion,
wellness, spa management, team sport coaching, athletic or physical education. See the following links for information on programs

 FALL APPLICATION DEADLINE:
December 1 of the year preceding
the desired year of entry

SPRING APPLICATION DEADLINE:
August 1 of year preceding
the desired year of entry
